Asahi Kasei polymers are versatile for food packaging applications. Asaflex™ (SBC) can be blended with mainly GPPS, and Tufprene™ (SBS) can be blended with mainly HIPS to improve impact strength of plastic containers with excellent low temperature impact strength. Tuftec™ (SEBS) is used as an impact modifier for PP and PS/PP alloy food packaging. Asaflex™ (SBC) can be used as a stand-alone material for film applications such as shrink labels.
