Product Information Tuftec
Tuftec™ H1062
SEBS: Hydrogenated styrenic thermoplastic elastomer
Essentials

Specially designed for modification of polypropylene (PP), as a reinforcing agent that imparts high impact strength without significantly decreasing its rigidity, and also for increasing its elongation and low-temperature brittleness resistance to levels that are unattainable with olefinic elastomers. Also highly compatible with olefinic elastomers, enabling co-use. It is supplied in pellet form.

Contact us for information on handling and use.

Applications
Primarily as modifier of PP for automotive exteriors and interiors, but also effective as modifier of PP for other applications, particularly those requiring elongation and low-temperature performance, as base polymer of SEBS compounds, and as adhesives and sealants component.
Elastic ribbon films, No-coat airbag covers, Bumpers
