H1062
SEBS: Hydrogenated styrenic thermoplastic elastomer |
 |
| Essentials |
|
Specially designed for modification
of polypropylene (PP), as a reinforcing agent that imparts
high impact strength without significantly decreasing
its rigidity, and also for increasing its elongation
and low-temperature brittleness resistance to levels
that are unattainable with olefinic elastomers. Also
highly compatible with olefinic elastomers, enabling
co-use. It is supplied in pellet form.

| Applications |
Primarily as modifier
of PP for automotive exteriors and interiors, but also
effective as modifier of PP for other applications, particularly
those requiring elongation and low-temperature performance,
as base polymer of SEBS compounds, and as adhesives and
sealants component.
