Asaflex™ 815
High-performance clear styrenic copolymer (waxed)
Essentials

Sheet grade. Blended with SC*, for highly transparent sheets. It is supplied in pellet form.

* Styrenic copolymer from PS Japan Corp. similar to Asaflex™ 815 in refraction index, resulting in blends that provide sheet transparency significantly higher than attainable with any GPPS (general-purpose polystyrene).

Applications

Blended with SC for transparent blister packs and other sheets, with GPPS for frozen dessert cups and other containers, and with GPPS/Tufprene™ to obtain PS sheets for food containers and other applications.
