> Tensile Strength and Elongation-Typical Intrinsic Test Values
December
12, 2001
The intrinsic stress-strain characteristics of each AK elastomer and Asaflex grade are largely determined
by its chemical structure.
Shown here, they provide a preliminary indication of its suitability and performance
in a target product application.
Tensile
Strength and Elongation Typical Intrinsic Test Values
Typical values obtained for various Tuftec, Tufprene,
and Asaflex types and grades.
Figure 1. Intrinsic tensile strength
of several elastomer and Asaflex grades.
Figure 2. Intrinsic elongation at
break of several elastomer and Asaflex grades.
Please note that all data and values
are given as typical results obtained with the indicated
test methods,

nature.
