Tech guide Asaflex

Transparent blends can be obtained in either hard and rigid or soft and flexible versions, by modifier selection.
Asaflex™ neat and in blends can provide hardness and rigidity.
PP/Tuftec™ H1221 and other blends can provide the soft touch and feel of flexible PVC.

Transparencies of Asaflex™/PS and PP/Tuftec™ Blends
Asaflex™ – Excellent transparency, with inherent polymer hardness
Desired transparency may be obtained by matching the Asaflex™ and polystyrene refraction indices
or by controlling their blend morphology.
